The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are no longer recommending children and pregnant women should be vaccinated for COVID-19.

A new set of recommendations has been posted to the agency’s website days after Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services, announced COVID-19 vaccines will not be recommended for children and pregnant women.

Kennedy made the announcement in a video posted to X on Tuesday.

The CDC website was then updated on Thursday to reflect the announcement.

The agency now states that COVID vaccines may be given to children ages 6 months to 17 years who do not have moderate or severe problems with their immune systems. But instead of providing a recommended course of action, the CDC now states simply that parents can choose to get their children vaccinated in consultation with a doctor.

A subtle but similar change has also been made to the recommendation for pregnant women, excluding the COVID vaccines from the routine recommendation.

A CDC advisory panel is still due to meet in June to make recommendations about which vaccines to recommend this coming fall. Secretary Kennedy, however, has chosen not to wait for the panel to sit.

Vaccination rates for COVID-19 have plummeted since the pandemic. Around 13% of children and 23% of adults have received the 2024-25 vaccine, according to CDC data.

In related news, documents declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard showed that Americans who opposed the Biden regime’s COVID mandates were designated “domestic terrorists.”

Director Gabbard spoke to Fox News about the documents.

“When you look at the language of these documents that I’ve declassified, first, the strategic implementation plan of the Biden administration’s designation of potential violent domestic extremists,” Gabbard explained.

“It really talks about people who may likely turn out to be domestic violent extremists or those who may turn to violence because of these specific ‘ideologies’ that they hold. And there’s a consistent thread through here that these ideologies that they are characterizing as potentially turning into potentially violent activities happen to be people who were using their First Amendment rights to oppose certain policies of the Biden Administration.”

She continued: “Some of the examples that are focused on here have to do with those who oppose the COVID vaccine mandates, those who oppose the mask mandates, and parents who were concerned that their children going to school may be forcibly vaccinated with the COVID vaccine without the consent or awareness of parents.”

The classification was intended to allow the FBI and other government agencies to open “assessments” into individuals who opposed the government’s COVID policies, as the first step towards a formal investigation.

The classification also provided a means for the government to pressure Big Tech and social-media companies to censor content.
