Artist and activist Scott Lobaido debuted his latest art piece outside the New York courtroom where Luigi Mangione was arraigned, depicting Mangione frying on an electric chair for the slaying of a UnitedHealth Group executive last December.
“Fuck Luigi and his jagoff followers,” a sign carried by Lobaido read, as he and a crew carted the installation near the Manhattan federal court on Friday, referencing people who showed up to support the alleged murderer.
Here are some of the protest signs carried by Mangione supporters:

If convicted, Mangione could be eligible for the death penalty.
Meanwhile, attorneys for Mangione, who appeared Friday for an arraignment, entered “not guilty” pleas to federal charges of murder, two counts of stalking and a firearms offense, after a federal grand jury earlier this month handed down a four-count indictment.
Mangione reportedly also faces state charges in New York, for murder and terrorism, and Pennsylvania, where he faces five charges, including for forgery, carrying a firearm without a license, tampering with records or identification and false identification to law enforcement.
